Why is flight simulator x glitchy?

I have a DUAL core  T5200 and 2 gigs of memory ram and it runs fine on mine.  My video card is a regular standard video output.  You just need a bigger processor to handle the audio/visuals and the game itself.  IM me if you want more help and I can guide you to getting the right upgrades.

FSX is a new product.  As a result it still has glitches, and in line with Microsoft tradition, it requires far more computer horsepower than the average person is likely to have.

You might want to try FS 2004.  It's cheaper, it's much faster, it is mature and has few bugs, and it doesn't require activation over the Internet.

Play on Microsoft Flight simulator 2004 since this is less cpu eating, Flight Simulator X is one of the most buggy simulators ever built by Microsoft, even the multiplayer keeps disconnecting every 30 mins or so, absolutely stupid...anyway the reason you can't fly on high graphics, this is because your pc at its current state cannot handle the graphics on fsx therefore you will need to invest in a Quad Core pc with atleast 4GB ram and a pretty decent graphics card.

I recommend getting a SP1 fix from the Microsoft Insider website, it should make the frame rates a bit higher, also just put it on medium graphics you should find that its ok ;)
