Why is footy olympic gold medal not as prestigious as Euro Cup or World Cup?

AN OLYMPICS GOLD MEDAL IS PRECIOUS - BUT WHY THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD ARE NOT PARTICIPATING?

BCUS ITS A U-23 TOURNMENT THERE FOR ONLY PLAYERS UNDER 23 CAN PARTICIPATE ONLY 3 SENIOR PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED PER TEAM

Most of the team have to be under 23.I think there can be only 3 "senior" players.Besides which England can't play.

Olympics are for starting up Athletes in their early career with only few seniors allowed. Simple as that :)
