Why is gas leaking from the intake on the carb?

I have a 1982 Honda Express SR Scooter. After riding it around I notice that there is gasoline dripping from the air intake on the carb. I took apart the carb and cleaned it and checked the gaskets and everything looked good. What else could be causing this?

You could have a bad needle valve that is leaking and letting fuel flow freely into the carb, or your float height is set too high, Both are very simple and cheap fixes, all you need is a manual and a screwdriver and a wrench, probably a 10 MM
