Why is gas price rising?

and why or how could the price decrease? It's ridiculous to fill a Honda Civic for almost $60!

  1. Gas prices will continue to rise until people stop paying for it.  Since most people have gotten into the position where they have to drive to live they are slaves to the oil companies.

    There was a time when everyone lived walking distance from their job. And there were general stores every few blocks.

    Now many people drive an hour(in creep and beep traffic) to get to work come home another hour in the same traffic. Only to drive out again later to the grocery store and back.


  2. the law of supply and demand.........speculators investments.......greedy oil companies.......opec trying to destroy the american economy........greedy polititions..........you name it...........(edited).............to the guy below me......i believe the law of supply and demand covers that.........

  3. The guy above me forgot the major factor of the war, the war costs over a billion dollars a day.

    Can you guess how much of that is spent on fuel?

  6. so far its got nothing to do with supply n demand tho tts wad they've alwaes been saying... =.= its becoz of the cartel.. they're the ones who control oil supply in the world.. and speculate the prices.. when they say the price is going up.. it goes up =.= and there is alwaes the USD currency problem tt has been declining... the crazy fuel increase has been making pple suffer ... n the best part of them all.. they doesnt lift a finger to help at all~
