We, the American people are too spoiled. When somebody whispers possible gas shortage, the public runs to the gas station to fill up, thus creating the "possible" shortage. The oil companies are using this tactic to get the prices up on both the crude and the finished product.   The middlemen are making a killing on our dependence on the products.

Wake up America.   Conserve.   Walk the short distances.  Try to use less fuel.  This is the only thing that "MIGHT" bring the prices down.  It is a supply and demand situation.  We are demanding way too much.
