Why is g*y marriage such a bad thing?

When the meaning of it (marriage) is completely lost on most of us straight people.

Religion is NOT an acceptable excuse or answer.

It isn't!  Straight people have been messing it up for a long time, it is our turn to show them what love, commitment, and monogamy looks like!

the only bad thing about it is that many g**s seem to think the homophobes will lighten up if g**s are married . but they will never run out of excuses to hate .

It isn't.  I'm happily married now and I have yet to see anybody come up with a legitimate reason that g*y/L*****n couples shouldn't be able to marry.  We're governed by the Constitution, not the Bible, so what the Bible or peoples' religions say are not pertinent.    LGBT citizens are law abiding, tax paying people just like straight people, and we deserve equal rights.  Those rights include marriage.

People think of the sexual aspect of homosexuality...just the s*x...not the feelings that two men or two women have for eachother.  Sadly to say, that homosexuals seem to be happier in their relationships, that most heterosexuals...which leads me to think...who is anybody that is heterosexual to judge?
