Why is getting the visa t o UK such a big hassle?

because we are overloaded to the max with foreign nationals

and the government have had to make it harder for immigrants to enter and pretty soon there is going to be a points system introduced so it will be Evan harder.

and besides did you think it was going to be a walk in the park we don't just let people in willy nilly although sometimes it seams that way.

It's their country...and they can make it as easy or as difficult as they want for foreigners to enter.  There are zillions of foreign nationals in the U.K., so it must not be all that difficult. There are counties that are much more difficult to enter than the U.K.
