  1. oh don,t start me on that one

  2. humans are the cause of all suffering. we inflict pain and horrors upon each other, and we cant blame G-d for what we are responsible for. things like war and corruption and murder.

why is G-d *letting* this happen? because he gave us free will. he gave us the power of choice, and its not his job to fix all the poor choices we ever make, because otherwise he might as well not have given us free will at all, and just created us as mind-numbed zombies.

as to why he made the world, that i couldnt tell you. he already tried to destroy it once, according to the bible.

  3. because without tragedy we wouldnt appreciate love.

and i dont know, we will know when we go to heaven

  4. God is not letting us suffer. We are causing the suffering, and God isn't nessesarily helpless, but at the same time he is because he has given us free will, the opportunity to make choices for ourselves, but in our world many many people do not make the right choices, which is why we suffer.

  5. Its your opinion that god is letting us suffer. Maybe for you, god is making you suffer thats why you feel this way, am I right? Maybe to the rest of us, we are actually living a good life with god by are side?

Opinions as why god created this world is questionable. I cannot question any religious philosophy, so I'm leaving this as an opinionated question. There I have no true answer.

  6. maybe we are not suffering. he must have a plan for us, why else would he make us.

  7. the goddess probably see us a [parasites]

do  you cry over the death of millions of bacteria, that you kill when you wash your sink?

the goddess see us as bacteria, and doesn't care if we suffer or not.

  8. god doesnt exist to let us suffer.it all happens on his own.nothin in this life is architectured.wats gotta happen ll happen.its not tat someone has planned 4 it or designed it.believe me dude,if these ppl claim tat god lets us suffer cuz he loves us,then y do u think did he let the bombings in japan ww2 happen??y the holocaust??y do innocent little girls get raped by their own dads??simple n gud enuf proof tat he aint there.so if u can say dat god doesnt interfere in all these, then y create us.doesnt he have a family of him own or jus create few ppl whom he needs 4 himself.the whole **** abt god theories r absurd.there is no clear evidence tat he exists.humans r more far more superior than the god tat they have created n the worst part is,they dun realise it.no offense guys/think abt it. amen ;)

  9. Who's to say a god did?

If there was a god, whom created him?

"All other things being equal, the simplest solution is often best." -Occam's Razor

Is it more realistic to fathom that we just are, or that a creature created us and everything around us?

And if so, what created such a complex creature to create more complex things?

    Think on it.

  10. It is not God that makes us suffer, it is people making others suffer. But my mom always used to say, "It all comes back to bite you in the end." As a former Christian, if you combine scince and religion together, instead of apart, you get a very different answer. To see what I mean, try reading these articles:

  11. everything he does, he does because he loves us.

without unhappiness and suffering we wouldn't learn anything. we learn nothing from happiness.

he wants to see each of our personalities for what they really are. We show our true colors in times of suffering. If we all showed who we really are all the time, then we wouldn't need suffering but that doesn't usually happen.

all these philosophies seem right to me but I really think that it's all based on your opinion. above is my opinion.

  12. because hes a funny funny man

  13. How else could we experience that we made a mistake?

Suffering only helps us to get back on track.

  14. God is not doing this out of spite but we did it to ourselves. How we did this is when Eve committed the first sin. Sin is what is responsible for our suffering and if we have Jesus as our savior when we die we will have eternal life. This life will be blameless and sorrow-less, there will be no suffering.

He made this world for us to live on and populate along with his other creations. Our purpose is to worship Him so please do what you were created to do.

    God Bless

  15. once you have power what else do you do? experiment

  16. Whatever you do you can do with joy or suffering. it's up to you.

  17. That is completely theology, not philosophy.

  18. As a Deist, I don't believe that God cares about humanity on an individual basis.  God works on a much larger scale, and most things that cause suffering are either incidental accidents of nature or self-driven.

But the answer that "It's our fault, not God's" sounds like nonsensical drivel, to me.  Especially from people who otherwise believe that God takes a direct, personal interest in the lives of human beings (going as far as to make up rules regarding their bedroom and bathroom and dietary habits.)

Maybe Man invented war, (although animals like ants and apes have it too) but he had no hand in malaria, polio, earthquakes, typhus, AIDS (no matter what the paranoids say), cystic fibrosis, tay-sachs, or spina bifida.

We can take the blame for war, but disease, natural disasters, and birth defects are strictly God's playground.
