  1. If you install Google Chrome, you will see an error like “Application

failed to initialize (0xc0000005).”. This is due to Symantec Endpoint

Configuration in ur machines. To workaround this problem, try the

    following fix.

    1.      Right-click the shortcut for “Google Chrome” on your desktop and

    goto “Properties”.

    2.      In the target field, append “--no-sandbox” and Save.

Try again. Google Chrome should start working for you.

Hope this will help if u r company PC is using Symantec End Protection.

  2. Unfortunately I don't have the answer but I do have *exactly" the same problem.  I've already attempted Algebra's solutions--it's a home machine so no corporate networks; enabling/disabling firewalls had no impact; nothing interesting in any of the settings, not going through a proxy; I've uninstalled and re-installed several times and tried choosing different options during installation.  Hoping someone else can shed some light on this but in the meantime wanted to let you know you're not the only one having this problem!

  3. All sites? Well, you could:

1/ uninstall, re-download and reinstall it

2/ press F5 to refresh the page (which I think you've already done)

3/ (most likely) check your firewall's, security suite's settings to see if anything is blocking it, avoid disabling your firewall unless you're desperate and know what you're doing, but sometimes that will solve the problem and you know you have to reconfigure your firewall.

4/ check your proxy settings and try connecting directly to the internet instead of using a proxy to see if anything changes

5/ check google chrome's settings to see if anything's weird

6/ try using google chrome on other computers (preferably in the same network) to see if the problem persists, if so then something is wrong with your network

Well that's a normal procedure to get any web browser working anyway, not just google chrome.

  4. I have the same problem while working in a network with computers under a specific domain. While i´m at home it just works perfect. No problems at all. I was trying to catch what´s happening but i didn´t get any answer. We´ve got to wait, it´s just a simple first betta version. Maybe it´s not ready to work under corporative networks. If you find any answer about this issue, please just let me know. Thanks.
