chicken chips, chciken noodles, chicken busicuts....just about any flavoring involving chicken is always green.

But I have never seen a green chicken and as far as I know, they dont have green blood!

So why?? Shouldnt it be red or yellow or something like that?

  1. In thailand its blue and plain is yellow. Verrrrry confusoing for the australian eye.

I guess people jst got used to green standing for chicken and blue for plain, purple for salt and vinegar.. I suppose its just easier and to not confuse people.

  2. I think it all started in the 70's with chicken flavoured chips, somebody in marketing for some reason chose green, perhaps because it was different to the colours already used for plain, BBQ and salt and vineagar and it's been used for that ever since.

  3. yeah it's funny but over in europe it's red.... so depends wat country you are in....

  4. This isn't really an answer but I just felt compelled to write something LOL.
