Why is he all super excited?

he's out of the country but for the first time ever he got super excited while talking to me and told me he's coming soon with a smiley face. Usually he always comes back yearning for me. For your info he now has a gf and i rejected him a million times but i still talk. Why is he so excited for?

To see you...Duh.  Anyway, if you've rejected him "a million times," why do you even care?  Sounds like he provides you with an ego stroke & maybe you're a bit jealous that he actually has a gf & won't be doing the usual pining act.
