Why is he changing like that?

K so basically i have/had this friend n he was always mean to my bestfriend and he was always nice to me when i was in his classes...but this year he is in my bestfriend's class n he is nice to her n mean to me...why is he changing like this.?.

Hormones, you didn't say how old he is. Teenagers go through many changes, like daily. It's hard to keep up with them. Sometimes people are nice to the ones they are with the most. Fair weather friends. We can all do without them.
