Why is he eating so much?

my zebra finch Joey has been eating every thing in his bowl recently most of the time you only have to give him new food only every 3 days, and yes i looked on the floor of his cage and around it there is no full seeds. could he be eating so much because he is lonely?

maybe he is really hungry...

or try getting him a bird and check what happens..

Some birds cant help themselves stop eating , beacuase they dont know when to stop , so dont feed it alot.
