Why is he so upset now, when he divorced me? ?

My ex filed for divorce from me, he had been cheating with a married lady. We were together for 10 yrs, married 8 yrs. When we first split I was begging him to come home then I gave up and moved on. I mean he told me he moved on so I moved on too. After the divorce, I got a better job, downsized to an apartment and just bought a new car, dating again. We have a 10 year old son together and he constantly asks our son about me and appears very angry when I see him. Why is he so upset now, when he asked for the divorce? Do men hurt after divorce especially after they cheated? He still works at his same low paying job, moved in with his parents and sibling. I just don't understand it so maybe some of the men can enlighten me. I'm just curious because we divorced in 2006 and 2 years later he is still angry when I should be the one mad?

maybe it's because you've become successful & better than him! just don't mind him. i really think u deserve someone better. he was the one who cheated on u & filed for divorce. it's his loss not yours!

I wonder if he is constantly asking your son about you or if your son is pumping that up a little.  I was the son of a divorce and it's hard on kids who don't understand the complexity of the situation.  all they know is that dad is cool and mom is pretty, so why don't they get back together.  

You have moved on and he hasn't and that hurts.  Guys are competitive and want to succeed.  he isn't doing either with you.  Your ex made a mistake and now he has to live with the consequences.  

I am glad you are doing well in this hard situation.

He probably made the worst mistake of his life and knows it.  And unfortunately learned it to late.  But maybe he is just really jealous of you and all your success, keep up the good work girl.

hes probably just jealous, realized what he has lost and screwed up. maybe he realized the grass isn't greener on the and your doing better for yourself and he is still the loser bum, who decided to throw it all away for a piece of a$$

OMG!!!! Girlfriend let me tell you, you don't need a man to answer this for you! It's clearly to see that he's soooo jealous of you! You upgraded yourself to better things and a new life of beginings!! He lost so therefore he's mad! Instead of  him being with a " lay " he;s laying on a bed at his parents house! LOL!!! LOOZER!! He's mad at himself. He's fillled with anger and overflowing and it's probably just spilling over onto you.  Probably just mad that he did not get to have his cake and eat her too, I mean eat it too.

Not a man but-He is probably angry because you have moved on successfully. You have a better job and are dating again. He has to live with his parents and he probably isn't even seeing that married woman anymore and is stuck in the same old job he was in before.  Sounds like he is jealous of your new found happiness. At least that is my take on things!

Sounds that he is mad because you're doing so good and well he moved back with his parents.

He probably expected you to be doing bad, to miss him and all the stuff.

Continue growing and forget about him and how he maybe feeling,he is a LOSER,and you should be glad  to be rid of him,Also tell your son not to discuss you and your personal business with his dad,because it's none of business as long as you are taking care of your son.The  EX is mad because he realizes HE MESSED UP BIG TIME !!!!
