  1. It can be given just about anywhere, as long as it is given subcutaneously. The stomach is the best location, however, due to the relatively vascular nature of the abdominal fat and resultant quick absorption there. Similar to why diabetics will take their insulin shots in the belly.


  2. it is usually the area with the most fat and is best absorbed there.

  3. Heparin is a trade name  Lipo-Hepin  is used as an anticoagulant in the treatment of thrombosis and in heart surgery.. I don't have any idea what else it does other than that..
