  1. I don't know. It's all a matter of opinion. There is no "right" and "wrong" answer.

I personally like it because it's just a great sport in general.

Most of the guys are respectable men who really love the sport. And when the guys love the sport......their energy and love rubs off on you. For instance....today when Russia won; the more and more I saw Kovalchuk yell, scream, jump, celebrate....the more I did. My happiness fed off of his.

Is a fast pace sport. It doesn't stop every 2 seconds like in football. And it's physical......football is physical too, but in footbal after they get hit they get to stop and shake it off....In hockey when you get hit you HAVE to get right back up and act move fast.

I could go on and on all day......but I'm too giddy and happy and can't think straight.

  2. Yes, it is in fact the best sport ever.

  3. hockey keeps your adrenaline pumping and its always exciting to see a player score and hear the horn go off and all the players celebrating. they act like one big family. its for the love of the game and for the team, plus if you see how old soem of the kids are its pretty amazing they are in this and playing this well. hockey should be the number 1 sport in the world. plus the fights are amazing too!

  4. Hockey is the fastest sport in the world, 1 game goes by in 2 1/2 hours!

don't hate on football though. it cool.

  5. it's fast and intense. it involves a lot of skill and acrobatics.

it's all person against person, and doesn't include a machine ie. nascar...which is also fast and intense.

  6. because its so freaking awesome!

  7. fast pace action fights(i dont like them much) anything can happen

  8. Because Hockey is the best sport in the world.

  9. it's always fast and fun and exciting. It's never the same, different plays, different players every 30-70 seconds and its just a super great game. There are so many different styles and abilities out there at one time and it's not your typical conformed sport. There is always something going on no matter what! There is hitting and skating and shooting, it's a skill's game as well. It to me is the best sport out there.

  10. because hockey is awesome!! i agree with the person who posted this baseball is boring blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

  11. because (well for me at least) is a high paced sport that has limited interruptions... if you have a fast game going in front of you, nothing is better, especially if its a rival game... there barely any interruptions, unlike football; less show-off like basketball; more exciting to watch unlike baseball, plus you can find good hockey anywhere in the country!

  12. hockey is very fast passed...and theres always something happening or people getting hit. Baseball is very slow and not a lot is happening, a throw then a swing, then a catch, then a throw...it gets very boring after a few minuets. Football would be more entertaining if there weren't as many replays. But hockey is so great to watch because it is the most fast pased and greatest sport in the world!!

  13. Hockey so amazing! Its the only sport i truly care about. I wish i played cuz it looks like soo much fun. Baseballs long and boring and theres never fighting. Football i dont even have a clue as to how its played or anything and its no fun. Hockeys like the best thing ever!

  14. I like hockey more because it's a physical sport and there's constant action.  Too much time lapses between the goings on in a baseball game.

  15. beacuse hockey is such a fast pace game and we fight.

my aunt doesn't like football because she doesn't get the point of going ten yards for a 1st down but she loves hockey because it's so fast pace.

we fight too maybe that's why!

  16. For one thing, it's unique.  Who ever thought of skating around on ice whipping a small, round object around with a stick?

Second, it's a wonderful blend of toughness and finesse.  Bone crushing hits and amazing stick handling.

Third, there is a lot more constant action than other sports.  If not for TV timeouts, you'd never have stoppages of over a minute, except for video replays.

The list could go on, but of course there is no answer that can fully explain hockey's superiority, which in itself is simply an opinion.
