Why is hollow earth on the most searched list?

Why is this in the public eye again. Hasn't it been disproved like 100 times. If the a planet the size of Earth was hollow in the middle we wouldn't have even close to as much gravitational pull on the outside as we do.

No shortage of nut jobs out there. It's fun sometimes to "what if" a thing as a mental exercise. but some take it too far.

Probably because of the recent movie "Journey to the Center of the Earth". Many people are ignorant enough to believe that might be true. Science is not popular with many people. That is sad, because it is interesting and informative.
