  1. hmmm. you are so right. well for many years it's always been males liking females and visa versa! we're just not used to the fact that there are g**s now. hopefully, not like the world cares.

  2. i really dont know why it is...I would like to know too.

  3.    To worry about this when life is so short and we can end up homeless just by losing your job, not to mention how hard it is to gain a house then keep it who has time or money to worry if your gender should change. This question would have never came up during WW2.

  4. As a christian who is questioning her sexuality I'm probably a good person to answer this question.

The idea is that God created everything with a a purpose in mind. Men and women were meant to find each other attractive, women and women and men and men weren't. The idea of "abomination" comes in when people go outside of the ordained purpose of their bodies.

I think fundamentalist believers would argue that if you go against what you were designed for (however rational your argument for doing so) you're being unnatural. Also creation had been corrupted by human sin so the fact that animals are g*y is irrelevant - they have been corrupted like the rest of creation.

For myself, I can't deny that the idea of same s*x relationships is appealing and I have to hope that God will look past my desires when He comes to judge human kind for it's wrongdoing. After all we do much worse things, right?

The ancient Greeks thought homosexuality (man-man) was a pure form of love but that was before they heard about what the Jewish God thought was right. Also I think we can all agree that one sort of love doesn't "top" another? They might not be the best guide to ultimate truth!

  5. I did read all you wrote and have given you a star! It is only unnatural to those who believe in a fictitious book that they have never taken the time to understand. Namely the bible or whatever it is called in other religions. And we are easy targets

  6. You are preaching to the choir.

  7. Also, in Edo period Japan, samurai in homosexual relationships were concidered the most honorable because g*y s*x was actually concidered more moral than straight s*x.

  8. It`s not unnatural.

  9. For the record, the Greeks disputed this with each other. Not that they weren't mostly fine with homosexual relationships, but different philosophers had different views on what version of love was the purest. You're probably (like many) thinking of Plato, who definitely believed that male/male relationships were the best. However, he believed that (and this is where we get the word) platonic male/male relationships were the best. The reasoning was that platonic (non sexual) love was the best and holiest form because it directed the mind toward the divine and away from the body. Male/female love was automatically lesser because sexual needs would get in the way of spiritual growth. He didn't even really think of female/female love; Plato didn't have much use for women beyond their wombs. The Greek philosophers in general (a few like Epicurus aside) were kinda misogynist, sexist at best.

  10. The major problem with a word like "natural" is that it doesn't have a very good definition.  "Polyester" isn't "natural," but those who wear it seem to be the first ones to talk about "homosexuality just ain't natural."

Just because something is "natural" doesn't mean that it's desirable.  Getting colds and having the flu is "natural" in the winter but that doesn't make them desirable.  Smallpox used to be a "natural" disease but humanity did everything it could to eradicate it.

On the other hand, there are some things that are highly desirable, but aren't natural, things like being super wealthy, super intelligent, super talented.  Only a few people ever achieve these goals.

Does "natural" mean "being in the majority?"  Then I assume that left-handed people and red-haired people would be "unnatural."  I read this past week that by the year 2050 white people will no longer be in the majority in the USA.  Will that mean that they will then be "unnatural?"

  11. It's very natural. I think your question is more of... "Why does it seem unnatural for 2 men to be together in the way that a man and a woman are?"

I think that's more of what you're used to. I look at it as though "if g*y doesn't seem common (which for me growing up, it wasn't) and people use the word g*y negatively, there must be a problem about being g*y."

Obviously, the way you're raised plays a HUGE role in what we find normal, or "natural", and irregular, or "unnatural". Just because you're not very familiar with an idea doesn't make it "unnatural," and such words said on a public answer website can make the coming out experience very difficult for some people.

Also, I'd like for you to define "over-populated". Yes, we may not have enough food to feed everyone (or rather, we have the food, it's just we don't). However, there is enough physical space in Texas to give every human being on earth 1 acre of land. So if you think the world is over-populated, please stop being close-minded.

(Wikipedia states that Texas is 268,820 sq. miles. Google's calculate feature says that's 172,044,800 acres (268,820 (square miles) = 172,044,800 acres). Last I checked, the Earth's population was 6.5 billion. After doing more math (172,044,800 (number of acres in Texas) divided by 6,500,000 (earth population) = 26.4684308 (acres per person possible)) it works out that every man on Earth can have 26 acres of land in Texas. "Over-populated" still?)

  12. Normal, - Abnormality

    Natural, UN-Natural

    They go Hand in Hand.

Yet, to accept the term Normal, You first must reject it, only because re are Ab-Normal things.

Once you comprehend that there are Ab-Normal things, you obviously cannot accept things to be "Normal" So you must accept the tern "Ab-Normal" just use the same concept with "Natural" & 'UN-Natural"

In other words there is no such thing as Normal, or Natural. They do Not Exist at all.

    Homosexuality is fine.

  13. Homosexuality is about as unnatural as heterosexuality.

Christians just like to pick on people because without 'immoral' people they can not boast their morality.

Also, was what Noah did incest? I thought only his family was left? Do you ever wish his p***s got eaten by one of the animals on the arc?
