Why is homosexuality seen as feminin?

I don't completely understand, how is two men bonding with sexual acts seen as feminin. But when two men go to a football game or talk about sexual acts with a girl is seen as masculin.

It would make more sense if homosexuality was seen as manly rather then make men ashamed.

Please, I do not want a religious lecture, I know very well what the bible and christianity states. I want a intelectual opinoin.

Sorry for any mispelled words.

  1. Its the media, they like to use that stereotype best...i hate it...

  2. That always bothers me too. People just hear a stereotype and run with it.

While I do know some guys who might fit the "stereotypical g*y guy" thing, I know just as many who do not. My friend Chris came out to me in high school and I thought he was joking! lol

(btw, I'm sure they'll give you religious lectures anyway... some of them are stuck on repeat.)

  3. I have wondered that myself.

As you can see here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

  4. It's because g*y men are generally much more in tune with their feminine side and tend to think more like women. Plus there's the fact that, like women, g*y men are attracted to men. It's not the actual sexual act, but rather the feminine state of mind that most g*y men have.
