Um. Because it's not?

That is of course as long as fair chase is employed and as much of the animal that is usable is used and it's not just a trophy hunt. There's absolutely nothing f'ed up about filling your freezer. Try some venison, you might change your mind. Also maybe look into CWD (chronic wasting disease) in deer and the effects of overpopulation on any species...
