Why is idol phony. full groups are told preform but no one from this group is going on to the next round.?

I have checked and all the winners have had some kind of deal that was being done before idol so what is up and why is this for unknowns. My niece is better than all of the people you have on the show but doesn't have the contacts. So lets give real people a chance. Yes you make money on this show by deceit. Make it more real not phony bull,

I completely agree -- I thought I was the only one who thought that.

There's alot of decent acts out there who are waaaaay better than anyone they've had on this show.
