Why is incest so gross?

I DO NOT think incest is a good thing at all, and I agree that it is completely disgusting. I would never think about doing it at all ever, but what exactly makes it so gross? WHY is it thought to be a bad thing in society? Once again, I DO think it's nasty, but I just never understood exactly why, you know? I just want to know from an objective point of view?

And since g*y people don't have any chance of passing on bad traits and stuff, is there any other reason besides birth defects?

It isn't really gross, nothing cross species or anything. It is just perception. Just like Americans cant comfortably have conversations with strangers only a few inches away from there face or even people they know well for that matter, we just grew up that way. Incest used to be very common even in America. Parents never used to have to teach there kids s*x. s*x wasn't always a sit down and lecture educated process. If you let kids just play it is a natural part of learning they will naturally want to play mommy and daddy and begin to experiment with cousins or siblings it wasn't ever a big deal. The natural process of genetic transfer was to raid another tribe or village and steal the women in the night. But even in large kingdoms or small villages a pure blood line was important and incest was a vital role in purification. Why without incest there wouldn't be blond, blue eyed, white people. or freckles or even certain orientals. Think about it. Anyone ever here of recessive genes. The more you mate outside your descendants the darker the hair becomes, the darker the eyes and skin too. Thats because the human genome is quick to return to its original makeup: Dark hair Dark eyes Dark skin....Thats why its called dominant gene. I am actually in favor of the whole world returning to the dominant genome when the whole planet becomes one skin tone eye and hair color. Why do you think they call America the melting pot??? But to return to the question no incest isn't gross you are just uncomfortable and that is just a behavior change based on your environment or AKA society.
