  1. Who irons anything in this day and age?  I bring out the ironing board about twice a year for summer linen clothing.  That's it.

  2. I ironed a couple of pairs of trousers last week, and my three year-old didn't know the words for what I was doing.  I had to teach him "iron" and "ironing board".  Mind you, I expect he'll have forgotten them by the time he next sees the iron...

  3. As much as ironing is boring but I like the creases of my pants and sleeves, starched and ironed. What you wear reflects your personality and tidiness.

I don't think it's a good idea to be made love while ironing because one might reach for the steaming hot iron and press it against the other while in ecstasy.

  4. I never iron anymore, my parents used to make me do it all the time growing up, because I was so good at it (attribute that to my perfectionism) and now I despise it.

I buy that Downy Wrinkle care stuff, and it works great, it even makes collars look crisp! And no...I don't secretly work for Downy, or anything.

  5. I don't think I would. I might end up burning someone...

  6. It looks boring, but then again I've never had to do it ;-D

  7. Ironing is boring cause it's not interesting. I don't own an ironing board.  If something doesn't come out of the dryer unwrinkled enough to wear, I don't need it.

  8. I know, I'm a staunch modern Feminist and I am bored by cleaning and ironing my clothing.  This is the result of men oppressing us for all these years in the interest of keeping our clothes wrinkle-free.  I'm tired of men telling me that it's not acceptable to look like a filthy slob like Andrea Dworkin.  I like looking like a disgusting piece of filth in public and don't want any men to pay attention to my grotesque appearance and disgusting dress sense.  It's my body and my choice and I'm tired of men oppressing me.

Yes, I'd prefer to have a s**y lady making love to me on the ironing board rather than ironing, as I enjoy s*x with s**y ladies a lot more fun (and less oppressive) and serves to advance equality by making love to as many hot women as I can, both above and below an ironing board (in the interest of equality).

I am a modern Feminist and I know what's best.

  9. Its because you're too hot to be doing it.

  10. Boring?

I'll come over and do all your ironing, if you come over and fold all my clean laundry! Talk about boring!

  11. Com'on Janna, let's face it, you're a kinky chick. Perhaps ironing would be less boring if you incorporated it into a fantasy of some sort. Maybe - "Passionate domestic slave forced to iron in order to please her alpha male owner/lover..."

  12. never had s*x fantasies while ironing but have imagines the iron was a sports car driving all over the clothes.

  13. For one reason or another I've always enjoyed laundry-related activities. I like washing and drying, putting clothes outside on a line to dry in the sun, ironing, folding. I have no idea why. The smell is a huge part of it.

But sometimes the smell gets me hot, so who knows. Yes then, I guess.

  14. If there has ever been an ironing board with that kind of stability, it would have been in a Billy Mays commercial a long time ago.

  15. While doing housework I listen to some interesting podcasts I've subscribed to in iTunes. You could also try putting on an engaging show on the radio/TV, something to occupy your mind while you're working. It definitely makes the time fly for me.

  16. i dont iron my husband does he loves it.

when we met we were in Air Force traininga and he used to pick up my uniform and iron it for me so i could come out and see him.

its a standing joke in our family about how much my husband irons. when we went on holiday to Cyprus he asked if the room had an ironing board before the hotel had even given us the key!

its good though as my mum pays someone to do her washing and ironing and she doesnt own and iron. when i joined the Air Force at 18 and I had to use one for the first time I didnt know you had to put water in it lol! i am glad i dont have to do it cause i am rubbish at it and its boring.

  17. I can honestly say I enjoy ironing and painting, two things most people can't stand. It gives me time to reflect on life and I find it therapeutic

  18.   I don't find ironing particularly boring, but then I don't spend a lot of time ironing.  I do a little bit most days, but I don't go on for hours like some people seem to.

No, I wouldn't want to be made love to on an ironing board, they're not stable enough, and it would most likely collapse, which would be painful.

  19. I only dream of making love on a ironing board if its with you Jana ;)

  20. Great picture for the mind Jana, but I have to admit, I lost the iron and the ironing board in the flood and did not bother to replace it.  Somewhere in the ocean a mermaid and her merman are enjoying MY ironing board without me.

  21. Yes, ironing is deadly dull.  I use to put the ironing board up in front of the TV.  Even that didn't work...daytime TV sucks, even the cable channels.

Netflix to the rescue!  Now I wait until a movie arrives in the mail, and watch it, while I do laundy.  Folding, sorting socks, ironing....all a breeze, when I'm watching something I ACTUALLY want to watch.

And, no, I don't ever thinking about having passionate s*x on top of the ironing board.  My Mother-In-Law lived with us for 9 months.  She burned a hole in the cover of my ironing board....I always think of her, and get a little pissed whenever I look at the ironing board!  Quiet the kill-joy for passionate love making.

My ironing board is an extra large size, I've never been able to find a new cover for it.  But now you got me thinking.....maybe I'll pick up a fabric with a very "naughty" pattern and make a new cover myself.  Then I'll grin every time I iron!
