Why is is so hard to get answers these days?

I write the most sensible humane questions on yahoo answers and I only get like 2 answers sometimes. Is it because the majority of people using yahoo are americans and since when Im online at 7pm in NZ it's 3am over there?

Time, question, catergory has a lot to do with it.   Sometimes that is all it takes is a few answers.  Wouldn't you rather have a few good answers rather than have a lot of the dumb, stupid, rude answers that are given a lot of the time.  Good luck!!!

A lot of people have to work more so they won't be by their computers a lot which means...

        -less computer time

        -more stressful work hours!!

I don't think it's a time thing, because when it's 3am where I am (in Florida) it's still 9:00 PM in Hawaii. Maybe your just asking questions that no one else knows.

"sensible questions" is probably what's wrong...I think your time factor plays a role, but I'm in OH and I seldom get answers for my intelligent questions...maybe try to give them a little more controversy...at least then people will come out to "argue" with you, and that at least can be fun

For instance, I asked a question in the Baseball forum about wanting G W Bush to become the Commissioner of Baseball, and tons of people - all of whom hated Bush - came out to blast me!...but when I asked a question about whether people felt it would be okay to confront a speaker in the middle of their speech if they disagreed with it, I got like 4 answers...go figure...)
