  1. Your entire body receives its nourishment by way of the circulation of blood. If blood doesn't reach any point in your body that part will die!

Therefore it just makes sense that any place you cut yourself you are going to bleed.

  2. Anatomy is fascinating. We have blood vessels, arteries and capillaries all through our bodies.

  3. it is because our body contains blood in a large amount and it keeps on flowing inside the body.there is a protective shield covering our body i.e. skin.for ex- if you keep some fluid in a cloth and prick it the fluid will leak.

  4. All living cells on the body require blood.

That said, ifyou stab yourself in the eye, you get ... uh .... eye-juice, rather than blood.

And you can go quite a distance into the heel before you hit blood. If you have big calloused manly feet, that is. Girls and pansies maybe not so much.

  5. Because the width of the needle you use to prick yourself is bigger than the space with no blood vessels... sounds fair, doesn't it? ;-)

  6. Because every cell in your body needs to be supplied with blood. Therefore, there is a network of blood vessels inside you that supplies blood to all parts of your body.

  7. {Muffled laughter}  He said prick.
