I paid for the conversion of my car from petrol to LPG counting on the fact that I would recuperate this cost in 2 years and help to alleviate the stress on oil supplies.

Locally at various service stations for months I paid $0.419/liter for LPG. Now since the last week I have to pay suddenly $0.489/liter at the same service providers.

People complain about the sudden increase of pertrol, but what about an increase of 16.7% for LPG? Who can explain this?

  1. Liquefied-petroleum-gas. So it linked with the petroleum/oil price.

  2. gas prices is all i have tosay

  3. When you buy LPG or Gasoline or Heating oil, you are buying energy.

It really is supply and demand.

When the demand for energy goes up, the cost of all energy sources goes up.

  4. You are not the only user that can convert from one petroleum product to another. As the cost of any energy source rises the cost for all sources of energy goes up due to the ability of users to change sources and the fact that a user already using the cheaper source in a business will then have an advantage over their competitor and should do more business needing more of the cheaper source of energy.

  5. supply and demand + inflation
