  1. What's the question here? You pay with PayPal because that's what the buyer wants you to pay with. And Yes, PayPal is owned by eBay. Nothing wrong with that.

    And the payee's website doesn't exist? What payee's website? A lot of sellers don't have an actual website. Many of them have online stores that may be affiliated with eBay, or at least have a link in eBay. I don't see the correlation between a website and PayPal.


  2. A lot of the sellers on eBay work out of their cellar. They don't have nor need a website. And what seems to be lacking in their price, they make up in their shipping costs. Not everything is a bargain.

    It's like the "As seen on TV" junk you see advertised on TV. It may cost only $19.95 but the shipping cost is $14.95. Whether you return the item for the $19.95 refund or not, the $14.95 you paid for shipping covers the cost of the item, the actual shipping cost, and still provides a profit.
