Why is it hard to readjust after 1 yr of homeschooling?

It all depends on the person, and what they are having trouble getting back to.  Some kids don't live much differently as hsr's, like my kids. Other kids don't get out as much, and may find that hard.  Or maybe deadlines are tough.

It is normal to have some trouble adjusting to a new situation, no matter what it is.  It'll all come together with time, I am sure.

It shouldn't be difficult at all. In fact, homeschoolers are typically more well adjusted to the real world than the typical public schooler since they actually spend most of their time in the real world instead of spending most of it at school.
