So it's baseball and softball's last year in the Olympics...do you support the decision made by the Olympic committee?

Do you think this could be a good or bad trend? is Basketball, Football (Soccer), Handball or Table Tennis next? SHOULD they get rid of those anyway??

  1. Of course they won't get rid of soccer, it's the world's most famous sport.

  2. It's because it is the western hemisphere's form of cricket. In the eastern hemisphere the only place it's really played is Japan and Korea, places where the US army had a long-term presence. Elsewhere most countries play cricket, at least as many as play baseball. Since cricket is not an olympic sport, the only fair thing to do is to either add cricket, or drop baseball. And there's too many sports to add any.

  3. yes I it not popular in many countries.  Also the space to play it.

Football will be safe it is play in most country of the world.

Handball might be the only one of been vote out but it don't take a big pitch like softball and baseball

Cricket is better then baseball and softball

  4. they're getting rid of it apparently because it is more directed to the northern hemisphere like america and europe and that.....i think its a stupid reason

  5. They just decided to cut it - that and softball. It's a shame, a lot of countries play both and it's not like there is pro softball or anything. I think it's a mistake, especially when they add things that are hardly sports.

They should at least keep the softball - that is a true amateur sport.

  6. It's all a popularity contest.
