  1. well, geographically we are officially part of North America, but in cultural and demographic aspects we like to say more we are part of Latin America (Mexico, Central and South America)

  2. Man! This got me on a test once!

    There is actually ONLY North America and South America!

    There is NO Central America! 8o

    It still ticks me off! You hear about Central America all the time!

    But there is no official Central America!

    grrrrrrrr

  3. Mexico is one of the so called 'torn' countries physically belongs to North America but culturally to South America but the people of it claim that they belong to North:)

  4. Because of the equator, you stupid girl, go study.

    Ignorant people like you make me sick!

    Or what you want the USA to be the only country in north america

    Mexico is actually considered North America.

    Countries of Central America include:

        * Guatemala

        * Honduras

        * Nicaragua

        * Costa Rica

        * Panama

  5. Have a look at a map and forget about political borders between countries.  There are two large blocks of land joined by a very little strip of land.  Mexico happens to be a significant part of the northern block.  That reality means it's part of North America.

  6. Mexico has always been part of North America. Central America was once part of Mexico. When the countries of Central America became independent from Mexico, they created what was once called The United provinces of Central America. (Now called Central America). So in reality, there are three subcontinents: North America, Central America and South America, which are all part of our great American continent. From the Bering Strait in Alaska to the Land of Fire in Chile.
