  1. I'm following wyomugs lead  !!.....

Nascar can do wonder's with foam... Soft walls... using it in drivers doors.  Saved alot of cars at Darlington last week!!

But it was Nasa's  foam... That caused Columbia, to never return home safely !!

  2. Wow learn some physics. Rockets don't use tires. And the reason rockets need to go 17,000 mph is because that is what is called escape velocity. Also Nasa has millions of dollars to spend and has to inspect every part of the rocket before sending it into space.

If a Nascar car blows a tire, that may cost a few thousand dollars worth of damage. If a rocket engine fails, there goes millions of dollars and possibly 3 mens lives.

  3. Because a NASA space shuttle has to leave the Earths atmosphere and Goodyear tires only have to be good enough for Kyle Busch to win races.

  4. where i work we make industrial radiators sometimes they leak sometimes they don't, its nearly impossible 2 find all the flaws all the time. He were only human. I wanna c u make a tire that holds up 2 thousands of pound of weight going around a track at 185+ miles an hour. when they don't fail does good year get the credit for the win?

  5. Because the moon landings were FAKE!!

  6. there is a science nearly as complex as shooting shuttles into space that goes into making tires that meet the specs required for nascar races.  there is far more to it then you and i will ever understand, as those so much must be factored into making a tire that will work at doing everything that nascar and the drivers want it to do.  it is a far more complex problem than you think, and your question is not a proper comparison at all.

  7. Don't forget that we have lost MANY wonderful astronauts over the years in the space program.  Should we then blame GOODYEAR for that?  What gives?  Take a chill-pill, m'dear!

    GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO J Gordon!

  8. They can, but then you would never need to buy more :-( One of the ethical limits of capitalism.

  9. Do all of the tires fail after 100 miles.  The tires on my car have over 29000 miles right now.

What a great question, you should be so proud of yourself for this one.
