  1. Rafael Nadal did not gain any points (0 point) after winning Roland Garros because he won it last year and successfully defended 1000 points. He gained a few points at Queens Club Championships after winning it because he only reached the quarterfinals last year.

  2. Because its about DEFENDING points. Because he won those 2 last year hes fighting to keep those points. If he wins, which he did, he only gets minimal points. If he lost in the final of either, he probably would of lost points. harsh, but thats how they do it!

  3. You will need to look at the points that each tournament provides. Each different tournaments and each round, gives the player different amount of points when they qualify for it.

But I find it strange that Nadal only got 100 points, I believe that it should be a little bit more.

  4. He won't gain points because points he won the French last year so he needed to win or he would have lost points.

Last year he reached the quarters of Queens so to defend points he needed to reach the quarters this year. He won the Tournament so he gained points.

    Hope that answers your question.

  5. each tournament provides different points
