Why is it OK to kill unborn babies but not OK to kill born babies?

Question

if a parent can't take care of their child, shouldn't they have the option to kill it rather than have it grow up in a life of misery? At a young age, say less than 2 years, it wouldn't even know what's going on anyway, and probably can't feel any emotional pain besides what a fetus can feel.

Are you serious? They are trying to make it illegal to kill a baby in the 3rd Trimester of Pregnancy...

Ok, this is why. Because people have s*x for pleasure, and often pregnancy comes from s*x. People do not PLAN on having babies EVERYTIME they have s*x, and if a person's life does not have room for a baby, they will get an abortion if that baby is unwanted. IF a woman CHOOSES to go through with the 9 months it takes to develop a baby, and childbirth, and raising it until it is almost 2, she cannot just change her mind and KILL IT.

It does not make sense.

a baby at 9 weeks in the womb will curl it's fingers around something placed in its palm. 9 WEEKS.

at 13 weeks in the womb - WEEKS! a baby will explore it's face, hands, feet and begin sucking on its fist.

because it has to have the support of the mother while its in womb so its actually not even a human being, when it leaves the womb, it magically becomes a human being instantaneously. pretty amazing huh!

In Finland it is possible for parents to "abort" (kill) their children up to the age of 12.

If you don't respect human life AS a human life, from conception to natural death, then you're just opening a door for all kind of subjective things ... Kevorkian, partial birth abortion, etc.

Either we respect life, or we don't.  There's no debate beyond that main issue.

liberals use the excuse that since it's in the mother's womb it's not a separate being, despite the fact that it kicks(if a mother could control that, I'm sure she would), and has its own dreams, and does all the things that Patriot, above me, said.
