Why is it a curse to have a woman on a fishing vessel?

probably because they'll have a fight over her.  If you're a girl you may not get it... but after not having s*x for a long *** time a guy'd do just about anything for it.  or maybe her monthly would send her into a hurricane or something =p

It's a very old curse, probably near pre-history.  Now it's something of a joke.

It's a very old wives tale. it goes back to the 17 century.

And it's totaly bogus, i have my own charter service and have been taking women fishing for 50 years and i find them to be very good fisherladys, the only advantage a man has over a woman is there upper body strength and some times you need that to catch the very big fish. but all is equal when useing the proper equipment like a fighting chair and harness.
