  1. yeah i have a mother and daughter. the daughter always fights mom, but she's smaller.

  2. Your male cat is bullying/dominating to show his female sibling that he is alpha, your female will put him in his place if he gets to aggressive...as long as his behavior doesn't change in other ways, like if he stops using the litter box, fights over food or starts spraying (they can still spray when neutered) everything will be alright.

  3. At any given time in their lives, cats can decide they need to be only children and object to any cats.

No matter what the previous relationship was, they can snap overnight and no longer tolerate "siblings".

Has something in the home changed? Cats HATE change!!  That's the most common reason cats "snap" this way.  A new smell, furniture, people.  Did you have your carpet cleaned?  Rearrange furniture?  Are there new animals in your neighborhood?  Stray really bother some cats even if they're outside.

    What to do?

Try to keep them seperate for awhile.

Praise peace, ignore fights.  Don't feed the drama.

Try introducing more toys or a new cat tree.  Sometimes that helps.

  4. If someone had a go at "neutering" me the least of worries would be me "bullying" people.

  5. Have you ever seen the Simpsons episode with Stampy the elephant? Animals are like people. Some of them are just jerks.
