  1. ebay

  2. To rub it in that they are superior to the rest of us in every way.

  3. Because they actually serve in the Armed Services, some positions are honorary, some hereditery, etc.  So much of the monarchy revolves around military events so of course they're all going to pile on every medal they have...

  4. Parades are the only places where they can show off their medals, etc. and their superiority, which is bull****!

  5. They turn up at parades because they are invited, to show respect and because it will help bring out the crowds.

As for not earning their medals - well, The Queen was in active service during WWII. Philip saw active service during the war. Prince Andrew flew missions in the Falklands War and risked his life. Charles served in the active navy. The other decorations you see are often honours for the various regiments they are colonel-in-chief of, or are orders of merit which they are members of or which they head.

  6. The royals are 'awarded' medals and honours by .. .. .. the royals! It's all part of having to make themselves look better and more important than the 'little people' (i.e. the non-royals). In fact it makes them look as vacuous and stupid as they really are.

  7. Well, I suppose it's one of only very few jobs they've got to do but I feel very strongly about them wearing medals to which they are not entitled and have not earned.

  8. You will find if you bother to do a little research that the majority of medal that the Royals wear are inherited Honours plus medals that they have won personally don't forget that Prince Philip and Prince Andrew were both in the Navy as serving officers and the fact that Prince Andrew was in the Falklands Campaign and in the thick of the action not sitting safe some where

  9. Whats it to you? I make the rules so we can wear as many medals as we bloody well like.............So there!!!
