After breaking up, you see your ex bf/gf, and you can just feel the awkward-ness stirring in the room. Why is it awkward between ex's?

  1. Because there's usually emotions still involved.

  2. Ah yes, awkward indeed. There are usually so many unanswered questions, assumptions and wonderings.  Each person is wondering what the other one will do or say and thinking ahead in their head about what they will do or say or let there be a new guy or girl with your ex, oh NO! If there are hurt feelings, then there is the possibility of high drama, accusations, even a little screaming.  Sometimes you wish you would run into them, but then again you don't.  It gives me such a sick feeling just to think about it. But then again, if things ended well, it could be pleasant and not so bad. Guess it could go ether way.

  3. It just is. It's hard to go from "You are my everything" to pretending like you barely know each other. Weird.

  4. There is definitely awkwardness when I see her with another man. I try to completely avoid my ex's.

  5. Probably because of unresolved issues. Aside from a mutual breakup, I can't see how it wouldn't be a little awkward.

  6. Depends honestly.

I've just broken up with a girl i've known since we were in elementary school, were both 25 now.

I still go to parties with her, h**l, even sometimes after a few drinks we forget that we broke up and kiss.

She's one of my best friends.

Then again, another girlfriend i had spread rumours that i had gonorrhea when i broke up with her.

So you win some you lose some :P

  7. i think it's awkward cuz u know that u used to have this connection with someone but now u don't anymore or u still do so i think it would just be awkwad passing him thinking bout all the memories and stuff
