  1. In these regions, they are exposed to large amounts of precipitation because they are in some kind of a tropical climate. Chances are the location is in or near the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). Many low pressure systems develop and there is abundant moisture for development of precipitation. Eventually the rain evaporates after it falls or reaches the ground. That saturates the air and makes it humid. Since the temperature is higher, there is a greater capacity for the air to hold moisture, not to mention there is more energy available to evaporate the water.

  2. they are usually in the humid tropics with high temperatures and rainfall  are common producing high levels of absolute humidity. In the jungle this natural humidity is accentuated by high rates of evapotranspiration. These factors cause the relative humidity to be high. Potential vol of atmospheric mosture is very high.

  3. Plants and trees always release water vapour through transpiration. In jungles, the trees and plants are more and hence more water vapour is released increasing the humidity.Probably, this may be the reason, I suppose.

  4. I'm not sure on this, I'm going to put forth a guess.

Jungle areas are almost always at the equator.  That is about where the sun hits the Earth the hardest, because that is the area that is always closest to the sun.

The sun hits water and evaporates it.  But all that means is that the water is now vapor, a kind of gas that intermixes with the air we breathe.  That is the major reason it is humid.

But when that air gets to the jungles, it hits the shade of all those jungle trees.  That shade cools off the vapor just enough to turn it back into water, but not enough to make it cool.  Its like hot water that isn't hot enough to boil into vapor.  But it turns back into hot water, and that is why they are also wet.

  5. You are thinking of this backwards: when a place is warm and wet, plants grow very well and make jungles. If it's not wet, no plants and no jungle.
