Why is it always windy around the base of tall buildings.?

My 7 year old just asked me this question and I didn't have an answer.

  1. Well if you go to the top of the building,get on top of the roof,you'll find it's windy up there too.


  2. I was thinking he same question. I guess it has something to do with the structure of the building. It's like gale force winds outside my block.

  3. because the higher you are the more wind there is.
