Why is it bad for a girl to have s*x while she's on her period?

I've heard this quite often, there are those that say it's uncomfortable, then there are the ones that say it's nasty/gross and then you have those that say it's actually unhealthy for both her and her partner, I've also read where it's a sin for a boy to have s*x with a girl if she's on her period. Now I don't expect any clarification on that one because I don't think there's anyone that can explain why that it is a sin, but if it really is bad for a girl to have s*x while she's on her period, why is that?

Societies waaaay back when thought that bleeding was unclean and went so far as to have women be in a separate part of the house. The bleeding was unclean and it was considered bad to be around that, let alone have s*x. I don't know about all religions and I don't know all of the specific details but I know we discussed that in a religion class this summer. Many people still believe that this is a sin today. As far as your question goes, it depends on the couple. I'm not condoning or condemning this practice. I'm just saying that some people think it's uncomfortable and others not so much. It depends on you and your partner. I'm going to be completely honest in saying that I've never heard that it was bad for a female to have s*x while menstruating. I'd love to hear about that also.

because it leaves a mess obviously. It gets all over the sheets and you really need to shower .

It's not bad, it can just be a little gross.  Blood can get everywhere, and a lot of times the boy doesn't like it on him.  But, sometimes it actually makes it easier for the male part to go into the girl, it slides easier.  It's not bad at all, and I've never heard that it's a sin, but I suppose that in some religions rules are different about s*x while on a girl's period, so then it would be a sin for different religions.  

I don't know if it's uncomfortable.  But, I suppose if a girl has really bad cramps while on her period, or has pains down there, then it could be uncomfortable for her to have to have something be inserted in her.  I think it all depends on the girl, I think.  

But, no, it's not bad at all.  Many people do it, some people just feel like it's gross.  It's your preference I guess.

Its not bad and its not a sin. Having s*x on your period it helps your cramps.

s*x on your period can be great!  I'm very sensitive during that time so everything feels better.  Also, it makes my cramps go away.  There's no risk of infection and it's not nearly as messy as others are saying.  

It's really no more messy than s*x normally is.  What little blood there is just gets mixed up in all the ejaculate.  It's not like you're bleeding a steady stream down there.  

Now, I didn't do it ever with boyfriends.  I didn't do it till I was with my husband.  He didn't mind at all that I was on my period and he was really happy when he find out how good it was for me.  When it's good for me, it's good for him.

ok on the religous one, its a sin because ur not married. thats it,im christian i know that one. i wouldnt say its unhealthy just use a condom. alot of people say its nasty cuz blood can get everywhere and that is kinda weird,personally, i think its gross to have s*x on ur period cuz what ur period is,ur period is ur uterus shedding the inner lining of skin after u have ovulated and didnt concieve.. so u are using ur inside skin as lube. yukky.lol.

its not necessarily bad, but just really gross for a guy...no guy would want the inside of your v****a to shed on his p***s...if you find some one who does, they are something special
