Why is it bad luck to be born on halloween?

I'm pregnant and I'm due on oct. 28th. Everyone who I tell, their first statement is "oh! don't have her on halloween! That's bad luck!!!" I'm not superstitious but this is my first child and I'm already worried about everything going ok.

I have never heard of it being bad luck, but any baby born on Halloween is supposed to have second sight or be able to see and speak to spirits.

I don't think you'll have a problem with bad luck.

I have a friend that was born on halloween and she parties like there is no tomorrow lol  I think they are saying it's bad luck because that's all hallow's eve.  the day before all saint's day.  I would think (personally) that it would be awesome to have a halloween baby.  I came one day shy of having a valentine's day baby! :-)

i don't celebrate halloween, however ,October is my favorite month! I LOVE fall, and I think you are having a baby at a great time!

no, i think that would be cool. there should be no bad luck. i would like to get married on halloween. its just a holiday. nothin to worry about.
