  1. cause it'll die faster. i had this happen so i don't recommend it.

  2. who said it was bad?

    i am kidding

    it will hurt his heart

and make its blood sugar so

    WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

    up

  3. It is bad to give them chocolate/caffeine for the simple fact that a hamster's body is not intended or able to metabolize these "stimulants" in a healthy manner.

Chocolate is particularly bad for these small animals because it contains Theo bromine which, if given to to your little pet, can cause vomiting and diarrhea, which may severely dehydrate your little friend, and if by chance, this doesn't kill him.... the advance of his heart rate may give him a little hamster heart-attack.

    be careful and good luck!

  4. the blood sugar will go up sky high. and you may aswell give it poison cos thats what it is

  5. because these foods were created by humans for humans and hamsters are not human:) although caffeine isnt a food but you know what i mean

  6. No, it will help his migraines.

  7. caffine, chocolate, increase the human body temp slightly but you can hardly notice it because of out size, if you give it to a smaller animal it can raise their body temperature to the point of death........because they weigh so much less than a human

  8. It makes the hamsters heart beat faster and his blood pressure go wild, if your hamster consumes a bit by accident and he's young he'll be fine but an old hamster may not fair so well....

  9. Chocolate contains theobromine, which is toxic to many animals. Caffiene is a drug- hamsters are so tiny, even a tiny amount of caffiene that could make no difference to you or I, could harm it.

People have overdosed on caffiene pills, so a hamster could overdose on caffiene as well.
