Why is it bad to mix energy drinks with alcohol?

if i mixed say a rockstar with absolut, would it be dangerous?

Once would not be harmful, it's when you do it often.  The alcohol tells your heart to slow down, while the rockstar says speed up.  So your heart could just say "I don't get it" and do something you don't want it to.

Well in my experience drinking nothing but drinking Yeager bombs (Yeager and Red Bull) all night tends to make you stay up longer and drink more, fighting the bodies natural urge to "pass out" can be dangerous leading to possible alcohol poisoning. Or heart problems I suggest just drinking 1 or 2 of these mixed drinks followed by beer or something more filling

DRINK SLOW remember the drunk you're feeling now is the shot you had 2 or 3 shots ago...

alcohol is a Depressant and energy drinks are a Stimulant both together is straining on the heart and can give you a heart attack.

It can cause heart palpatations in some people.............It makes you drunk faster.  The caffeine in the energy drink with the alcohol could cause a problem with people with heart problems.

if you pound too many energy drinks in general it can damage youre heart do it responsibly & you should be fine

its not bad..its just the same as mixing Sweet and Sour mix with alcohol..i mean energy drinks are bad for you but its still just a mix..takes away from the taste of the alcohol. it has no bearing on how fast you get drunk, either..
