  1. Cause it makes you look g*y.

  2. its  not bad....she probably hates it cuz its annoying to her but yah i agree it does look a whole lot better

  3. they wont look better if you stop shaving.

  4. Why is this in Men's Health?

  5. I think it because the hairs on your arm keep you warm.

Well all hair keeps your body warm....but that might be why.

Just ask her why she doesnt like it.

  6. Cause once you shave, it will keep growing back thicker and darker. And now you're stuck with shaving all the time or else you'll get prickly.

Just one more thing to worry about shaving.

  7. because everytime you shave your arms...

the hair grows back uneven and thicker, and darker

and after a while some can turn into ingrown hairs which can turn into infections but that's an extreme case

  8. its not bad

  9. cuz there's no point plus if u shave it, it grows back even thicker

  10. I shave all the time, I like being smooth in certain areas, especially under the arms....as for the growing back thicker part its not true, That myth was already busted by scientists long ago...google it....as for shaving, do what makes you happy not what others do cus if people start jumping off bridges will you do it too? Be you and be silky smooth:)

  11. i shave my arms theres nothing bad about it n it doesnt grow thicker or darker... i just didnt like the hair so i got rid of it

  12. Because your hairs grow thicker and faster.

If you keep shaving them... then you won't have a problem with that.

But you HAVE to keep shaving, or you'll have a nasty problem.

  13. It's not.

Some people just don't like it because apparently, leaving hair there is...natural.

&people don't like how hair tapers.

    (( Not everyone's hair tapers, though. ))

EDIT: I love how people STILL believe that your hair grows back thicker. If it grew back thicker, people would have hairs the size of pencils or tree trunks by now.

    It's a myth, people.

  14. It's not bad. Just do what you want. I personally think it's better for a woman to shave her arms as well. Just my opinion :)

  15. Like everybody else said, the problem with shaving your arms is that they will always feel prickly and during winter when you get goosebumps you will look like a scarecrow. Some people say that shaving hair doesn't make it grow thicker but from my experience, the areas I shave have coarser hair than the hair I don't shave or hardly shave.

One alternative you might want to consider is using a hair lightener like sally hansen or jolen.  That helps keep them looking clean and feminine without shaving.

  16. When people say "hair grows back thicker" that's not quite the case.

Let's say, if someone never shaved, their hair would look like this:

        /\

       /..\

      /....\

    /......\

    /........\

Now let's say your hair is more like:

      /\

    /..\

    /....\

--------  and you cut it there.

/......\   Is still under the skin.

        /\

       /..\

    ------------ (shave)

       __

      /....\

    /......\

    ------------

      ____

    /........\

    /..........\

    You get my point.

[Now my one question is this 'Tweezy' thing.  If I heard correctly it pulls out hairs, causing the whole process to start again.

( /\ )  If anyone knows more about this....]
