Why is it called Chocolate Lake?

An ad by Globalplus featuring being fondued in the chocolate lake spa has sparked my intrigue. So far google searching has come up with a Chocolate Lake in Halifax, Canada. But I still don't know why it's called Chocolate Lake.

  1. Chocolate Lake was named because of the brownish water when the wind pipes up.

    Simple enough, I guess!
