Is it made with beer or just a nut you eat when drinking beer? In fact, I've never been to a bar that had them... is the "beer nut" an urban legend?

  1. it's a peanut, roasted and glazed with the skin on. the skin adds a hint of bitterness, and the glaze is a sweet salty coating.  the combo of the nuts and beer tastes really good, and the salt makes you thirsty so you drink more beer.  they are tasty :)

  2. I actually don't know why either. I think it's because they put the nuts there for you to eat. The salt makes you thirsty so that you can order more beer? Maybe... xD

  3. People nut on them so you'll aquire the taste for the drunk man/lady you take home that night in a drunken stouper
