  1. That way, if you don't evacuate (Like the dumba$$es from Katrina), you can't sue the government for not issuing that status...

  2. Enjoy your footage.  There have already been reported deaths by Fay and it's expected to intensify before hitting Florida.  I advise because you have so little experience with hurricanes that you follow orders and evacuate.  Is your life worth footage?

  3. This is not like chasing tornadoes. Hurricanes can be deadly and it doesn't take much (flying debris) to get injured. I would not recommend going outside to get shots of the hurricane unless you are a professional.

  4. Probably because you really SHOULD leave because your house might get destroyed, your town might get destroyed, you could get killed, etcetra.  It's just smarter to leave if it's a really bad storm.

  5. Probably because your area is expected to be hit with the worst part of the storm. I remember watching hurricane vids on TV and all I ever see is reporters being blown away by gusting winds and it doesn't look fun at all.

Be careful and be safe. If the storm itself doesn't get you the building your staying in collapsing will.
