  1. The test to distinguish between constructive and impartial criticism of Israel as opposed to masked anti-Semitism is very similar to what you would apply to any other country, including the United States.  "Criticism of Israel" is in fact anti-Semitism when:

    1.  It denies Israel the right to exist, either explicitly or implicitly, by denying it the right to defend itself against aggression.

    2.  It legitimizes the advocacy of Israel's destruction on the ground of "pluralism of opinions" or the like.

    3.  It singles out the Jewish people as the only people in the world who have no right to self-determination.

    4.  It subjects Israel to vastly different and higher human rights and warfare standards than other countries -- notably, its Arab neighbors.

    5.  It, despite all the disclaimers, uses the words Israel, Jews, and Zionists interchangeably.  All those who say that Muslim extremists hate only Israel and not Jews, I have two words for you: Daniel Pearl.

    6.  It is bundled up with claims of worldwide Jewish conspiracy and calls for restricting the access by Jews to education and jobs.

    7.  It presents the Holocaust and the history of persecution against the Jews as their own justification -- i.e., if the Jews were treated so badly, they must have deserved it.  Almost two million children died in the Holocaust -- what did they ever do to you? Perhaps the religious fundamentalists spewing this idea should ask themselves why THEY are hated so much.

    .

  2. It's antisemitic because the so-called human rights violations do not exist except in the minds of Arab terrorist supporters. The Arabs said quite openly that they wanted to exterminate the Jews (Hamas and Hizbollah still do). The only people who use the word "criticize" next to "Israel" are phonies who wish to appear moderate.

  3. the fact that they would do that is completely rediculous ...other than the fact that "Israel" - other than the fact that its the "promised land" - has nothing to do with the belief itself

You wouldn't be conciddered anti-muslim for saying that "iran doesn't live by human rights" ... which is pretty much in the same ally but in a different perspective...

Without being anti-semetic here (and its rediculous that we have to defend ourselves with a statement like that to begin with) but not everyone is against Jewish culture, israel or whatnot ...

we guess its just easier for some countries/regions to blame their lack of human rights onto people being negative towards "their people" ... since Israel is not a faith but a COUNTRY ..the fact that they would concidder it to be anti semetic would not fit at all!

  4. What exactly are the human rights violations Israel has committed?  Please, no rhetoric and no propaganda.   As a non-Jew, I have only seen Israel attacked, fight back and win, so to the winner goes the spoils.  They have given up territory only to be attacked from that very same location.

Anyway to criticize a Israel for the fake accusations they put up with is antisemitic.

  5. Israel is inevitably associated with Judaism. It isn't antisemitic to criticize Israel for its actions or its existence. I am Jewish on my mom's side which makes me Jewish by the religions law and I disagree with a lot of things that Israel does and several Jewish people I've spoken to agree with me. The fact that it's considered a Jewish state has nothing to do with what they've done or why people dislike them. I actually find it kind of offensive for them to call people criticizing them antisemitic, to me it implies that they're exercising the will of the Jewish people. Statements like that are only fueling antisemitism.

  6. LOL

    since they said so.

  7. It is when the allegations are false, there is so much false reporting about Israel and so many false allegations put forward. It is very popular to condemn Israel.

  8. What "human rights violations'?  There hasn't been any.  Kid, you should go fight for your terrorist palestinians.  They'll only ask you to put on one bomb vest.  They've murdered countless innocent Israelis but YOU think Israel is the one who has violated human rights.  d**n kid, you really need to lay off that pipe.  It's going to fry your brain.  Oops, too late.

  9. it isnt because ur criticizing Israel not the jewish people. non-jews live in Israel too so its not criticizing.
