  1. Glastonbury has never been a "rock" festival it has always been very diverse! De La Soul have played there twice, Cypress Hill, The Roots, Dizzie Rascal, and it makes no difference that he was headlining because there wasn't a big thing when it was announced that Kylie would be headlining (before she pulled out) and she is as far away from rock as you can get! and lets not forget the chemical brothers and basement jaxx have both headlined in the past and also two of the most historic headlining glasto sets ever? Orbital and the Prodigy. Not many guitars there me thinks!

I think Noel Gallagher just sounds bitter because the last time Oasis headlined Glasto they were slated because they put on a poor show and he knows they will never get the chance to do it again!

  2. It isn't for me! He can perform there anytime he likes, and bring his delightful female companion with the curves too, if he likes. (I forget her name for the moment, but it will come back to me).

  3. This problem is the same with the likes of Rappers and Emo bands playing at Download. Download from the way my friend has put it is a Metal festival so I think; and many people do that only metal should be there. The same is for Glastonbury, I don't know much about it, but if its towards a certain genre then people will only want people in that genre playing because they have paid money to hear a certain type of music associated with the festival.

  4. because Glastonbury used to be a "hippy" festival played at by local artists and folk musicians. It was never supposed to be for "commercial" or mainstream artists. Def. was not meant for rappers!

  5. He was Very good and that wonderwall cover was good and quite funny shows he dont really care what over people think of him

  6. Because people are not open minded. 'I hate all rap' seems to be the common view of Glastonbury vets
