Why is it diffcult to establish consistency?

  1. Simply because there is none.


  2. Because humans are reluctant to change.  They are comfortable where they are or they fear uncertainty. Change is uncertainty, and therefore; they are reluctant to be consistent until they have modified their behavior.

  3. It's difficult because a human's natural tendency is, NOT to want to 'follow through'...

  4. Because it is in an upper level accounting course. Sorry, I mean an upper level cooking course.

  5. Because consistency is boring.  New things are exciting!  But if you keep doing new things, you keep erasing what you've already established :(

  6. Consistency in what?  Are you asking this in terms of research, or simply within your life?
